Arjun
Vikram-Singh - Chief Executive and the inspiration behind Quantum, has
spent over 28 years working in the transport industry, with a diverse portfolio
of experience. He has a unique blend of technical skills and management
experience, an understanding of processes along with an overview of business
realities and a grip over systems design along with an eye for the real need
for solutions.
A merchant marine officer, Arjun has been captain on some of the giants of the
seas. Over a period of 16 years, his operational and asset management skills,
as well as his crisis management abilities have been honed to perfection.
Over the past 11 years, Arjun's managerial responsibilities have spanned every
level, from small regions to headquarters. He has gained wide cross-cultural
experience, working in countries as far apart as Dubai, Switzerland, Hong Kong
and Chile. A combination of his vast experience and his acumen for problem
solving, is the key driving force behind Quantum.
Vikram Rajaram - has been on Quantum BSO's Board since
September 2004, and actively contributes towards Quantum's Corporate Governance
and Policies and retains an active hand in advising the Management on Strategic
Business issues.
Till 2003, Mr.
Rajaram was Head of Corporate Affairs and Chief Ethics Officer at Titan
Industries. His role covered many areas - Corporate Communication, Social
Ethics, Corporate Administration, Human Resources and Systems. He continues to
be a Director at Titan, a part of the Tata Group of Companies.
Mr.Rajaram, is
an alumni of the Harvard Business School where he did an MBA with a
Specialization in Finance and International Business. He did his Masters
in Science from Oklahama University and his Bachelors from St Xaviers, Bombay.
Prior to his
tenure with Titan, Mr. Rajaram was the Managing Director at Comcraft Services
of London. He held various management positions at Asbestos Cement in New
Delhi, and previously was a Financial Analyst with IBM in New York.
